A note on AutoCAD

The virtual model kit is done in AutoCAD R12 with Solid Modeler, so a basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be helpful. However, we have added some custom commands to instantiate and manipulate the model parts. For more details, please see the manual.

The following AutoCAD documents are included on this material:

  • a virtual model kit,
  • a model of a sample building, and
  • models done by our students.
