Model A: perspective 1 (view 3 of 4)

This image shows one of the shortcomings of computer models: the lack of gravity. (See Li and Tsou 1995b.) The large dou (block) on top of the column shows an empty notch where a gong (arm) should be; the gong supports a small dou (top edge of photo). Even though the gong is missing, the small dou succeeds in its structural role of supporting the member above it.
